Description

Even more interesting is the first Japanese character for ninja is by itself pronounced “shinobi” which means to endure or conceal and is written with a blade or sword over a heart (忍). There are many connotations to this, but some thoughts give rise to the idea of cutting one’s heart, concealing one’s heart, or stealing/infiltrating one’s heart. All this is why the Japanese language is so vague yet so eloquently deep or as the English say, “a picture can say a thousand words.”
